WE NEED YOUR HELP!! We have to preserve the funding for Family Resource Centers and Parental Assistance Programs in the state budget. On February 11, the Governor released his budget with cuts in many essential services for children and families. We cannot let this happen, and now we need to work together to ensure that the legislature restores these funds in the upcoming budget negotiations. MomsRising, the New Hampshire Children's Trust, Family Support New Hampshire and New Futures are working together to ensure that every elected official who is making these decisions understands the true importance of Family Resource Centers specifically and Parental Assistance funds more broadly. To this end - we need you to tell us - WITH YOUR WORDS - about the great work happening in your community. If we can get stories from every region around the state, from every family resource center we will work together to lift your stories up - and get them in front of decision makers. We must work together to restore these funds! Visit https://action.momsrising.org/survey/NH_FRC_STORY to tell your story and help us restore funding for New Hampshire Family and parental assistance programs. Support the programs that support NH families. Christina D'Allesandro Senior Campaign Dir. Momsrising

The Children’s Trust identifies that Family Resource Centers (FRCs) and all family support and boosting programs are crucial to our mission of heading the drive to make sure that secure, stable, and bringing up relationships and environments for children. FRCs support families by providing a variety of services planned to upgrade family protective attributes, assisting families to be their powerful and reducing the risk that child abuse and desolation will take place. They are assorted programs that meet the requirements of the families in their communities in unique ways. Essential to the very description of FRCs is that they are reactive to the requirements of their communities and can appear to be very different from each other. Although assorted programming, there are truths of family strengthening and support, and other common ground that connect them.
