Parenting and raising a family can be very rewarding work, but it has its challenging moments too and can be downright overwhelming.  Why try to do it alone?

These supports are no longer available for many families, due to family mobility, the loss of a sense of “neighborhood connection,” and other reasons. Many families feel isolated and stressed.

The family support and resource centers across the state are here for you. Whatever your circumstances – whether you’re new to a community, looking for parents with children in your own child’s age group, or you just want to have a pleasant cup of coffee with other parents while your children play in child care – these centers offer you that sense of support, community, and connection that we all need.
